Short Description
The powerMELA®-FW flywheel motor-generator is designed for installation directly on the crankshaft flange of a combustion engine. Performance and dimensions are designed especially for mobile machines and off-highway vehicles. The main function is the generation of electric energy for the traction drive, auxiliary machinery and implements. In combination with energy storage, start and boost functions or a pure electric drive can also be realized.
Adapter plates and a crankshaft specific rotor allow adaption to a range of SAE flanges.
